Children at sea A 12 by 12 canvas was used for this painting. I have always loved the little postcard showing these two children. So I decided to reproduce it. Unfortunately I do not know who the artist is. I have to admit that this delicate painting is surely one of my favourites. The colours used portray a calm atmosphere.

Flowers in vase 1 A 20 by 30 canvas was used for this painting. This was the first painting I attempted. It is dated back to March 2001. It depicts a vase with various flowers. A book consisting of various flowers, which bloom in gardens, gave me that extra helping hand in painting the floral details. Please sign my guestbook and let me know what you think of this site. Also feel free to contribute to this site with your own tips.
Flowers in vase 2 A 20 by 30 canvas was used for this painting. My husband encouraged me to paint an accompanying vase of flowers. Indeed I was much pleased with my second try. The shape is more pleasant to the eye! I decided to reproduce the poppy and the sunflower so that there is a certain relationship between the two paintings.

View A 20 by 13 stretched canvas on board was used for this painting. After reading a couple of books regarding painting with oils, I decided to try out the Removing paint technique. After applying thick layers of oil paints, I scraped it off with a palette knife. Afterwards, I carefully painted the houses shown in the distance.
